Becoming Renaissance Person

In the Middle ages, Leonardo was all-rounder. That is, He was a unique type of Renaessance person. He was scientist, artist, architect and even mathematician. He had involved in drawing church works and had left lots of his drawings to be prototype of human body.

The world is changing rapidly and we have to adapt this situation. Each field wants to hire some people who have specific skills. For example, a English academy boss wants to hire people like native speakers. He or she doesn't want them to have skills including writing stories and using computer. In short, they don't want Renaissance people.

But here, my academy wants to hige this kind of people. We have to know how to fix copy machine, talk to parents well, write handwriting neatly on the board without line at all, make syllabus, check absent kids, write the date on the left top of the board and check kids homework within 5~10 minds perfectly. These are not enough. At least, I can write down 10 more things.

All these happening are just in a month. Most of them just in a day. My boss tells us he wants to hire English speakers, but in fact, he makes us become Renaissance People.

Soon I could fly in the sky without engine like Leonardo's drawing. I feel like becoming him. I still can't finish my work on proper time, but my velocity is getting faster and my know how is improved for last 2 years.

Honey, I told you don't be a Superman for me. If I write this, you might worry about me more than before. But I am still strong and good. You know how much I work hard here and am affected by work everyday. I am sorry but I can't say anything except work.

These days, home baking attracts me so much. I want to learn lots of thing which I don't know. Cooking, Studying, Counting, Knitting, Sewing, Drawing and taking pictures. And I really want to be an all rounder for you.
